We are on the look out for a Client Manager to join our team. Lighthouse Communications is an award-winning public relations/marcomms agency based in the creative hub of Holywood, less than 10 minutes from Belfast city centre. Established in 2009, we are a full-service public relations agency, who also offer in-house video and design for a truly integrated marcomms approach. Retained by some of Northern Ireland’s leading brands, which encompass all sectors of the economy, we are recruiting now following a series of new client wins. You’ll be working with one of our talented teams helping to deliver our partners’ corporate objectives through innovative marcomms strategies. On a day-to-day basis you’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive PR/marcomms strategies aligned with client objectives. Monitoring industry trends, competitor landscape, and relevant news to identify opportunities and potential risks.

  • Maintaining strong relationships with journalists and media outlets. Pitch stories and press releases to the media, aiming to secure positive media coverage and managing responses to media inquiries.

  • Creating compelling content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and other communication activities. Ensure consistent messaging across all communications to reinforce client's brand and corporate objectives.

  • Developing digital and social media strategies, ensuring timely and engaging content for clients. Monitoring social media conversations, responding to inquiries or comments promptly.

  • Engaging with stakeholders, including customers, employees, partners, influencers, and Government, to build positive relationships and garner support.

  • Track and analyse the effectiveness of PR and marcomms communication initiatives, using data to make informed decisions and improve strategies.

Required:

  • Degree or professional qualification, preferably in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing

  • 2+ years of related experience working within an agency or in-house

  • Excellent and proven writing skills

  • Experience providing strategic communications advice

  • Strong content development skills across a range of formats such as news, thought-leadership, speech writing, presentations, briefings, reports and social media

  • Ability to perform under pressure
